Efektifitas Edukasi Menggunakan Media Workshet Terhadap Pengetahuan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) education from an early age is essential, especially for elementary school children, as they are vulnerable to diseases. Many students lack an understanding of the importance of PHBS. To address this issue, an educational method using worksheets is needed. These worksheets are designed with pictures, colors, and simple language to allow children to learn while playing. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of education using worksheet media on knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior among elementary school children. This study employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The population includes first, second, and third-grade students at SD Negeri 02 Kotapinang. Sampling was conducted using proportionate formulas and systematic sampling techniques, resulting in a total sample of 35 students. The research instrument consisted of a knowledge questionnaire and worksheets as the educational media. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed the effectiveness of education using worksheet media on PHBS knowledge among elementary school children, with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Education using worksheets can be employed as a learning medium to improve students' knowledge.
