Abstract

Objective: The Pharmacist Professional Internship at BPOM aims to know and see directly the role, function and responsibilities of pharmacists in government and understand the creation and use of regulations at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. It is expected that prospective pharmacists (PKPA students) will gain sufficient insight, knowledge and practical experience about pharmaceutical work in the government sphere. Implementation Date: Pharmacist Professional Internship at BPOM is held at Jl. Percetakan Negara No. 23, Central Jakarta at 08.00-15.00 WIB for Monday-Thursday and 08.00-15.30 for Friday during March 04 - March 28, 2024. PKPA Activities: includes provision from various BPOM deputies and directorates to provide basic understanding of the main tasks and functions, laws and regulations, policies and work methods to supervision, inspection and testing procedures. PKPA activities at BPOM include placement in the Directorate of Processed Food Production Supervision. Furthermore, a final presentation is carried out to demonstrate the understanding and skills of prospective pharmacists during PKPA in their respective directorates.
