    Abstract
Clean water is an essential requirement for human life and serves as a vital natural resource. It is utilized for various daily activities, including drinking, bathing, cooking, and washing. According to the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Regulation Number 09/PRT/M/2015 regarding the utilization of water sources, water encompasses all forms of water found in and/or originating from both surface and groundwater sources. This study aims to evaluate and plan the water supply system in Simamora Village and Sionggang Village to enhance the current water supply infrastructure. The existing water distribution system in these villages fails to reach many households, forcing residents whose homes are difficult to access to rely on river water for daily use, which may not be safe for consumption. The research was conducted using data collected through direct observations in Simamora and Sionggang Villages, located in Baktiraja District, employing a quantitative approach. The findings indicate a pressing need for the development and planning of the water supply system in both villages, with projections extending over the next ten years. To address the challenges associated with high service demand areas, a plan for utilizing a new raw water source in Sionggang Village has been proposed, featuring a flow rate of 14.96 liters per second. Calculations reveal that the total projected water requirement for the year 2033 will be 1.177 liters per second.
