    Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of System Application and Product (SAP) on employee performance in the HR department of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I. The background of this research is based on the company's need to optimize human resource management through the application of modern information technology. Expertise in using SAP is a key aspect that determines the effectiveness of implementing this system. If employees do not have adequate skills, negative impacts can occur such as delays in work processes, data errors, and low overall productivity. This research uses a quantitative method with regression analysis based on Sugiyono's (2016) guidelines. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed to determine the relationship between SAP usage and improved employee performance. This approach allows a measurable evaluation of the effectiveness of the system in the context of company operations. The results showed a positive effectiveness of SAP use on employee performance. Regression analysis reveals that each increase in SAP usage by one unit will increase employee performance by 0.042, with a positive regression coefficient. The use of SAP contributes 54,7% to improving employee performance, while the remaining 45,3% is influenced by other factors.
