    Abstract
Hemoglobin levels in postpartum mothers are a crucial factor in the perineal wound healing process, as there is a correlation between hemoglobin levels and the healing time of perineal wounds. Hemoglobin levels are a common condition that can affect the quality of life of postpartum mothers. One of the most prevalent issues after childbirth is abnormal hemoglobin levels in postpartum mothers. This study aims to identify hemoglobin levels during the perineal wound healing process in postpartum mothers in the Medan Polonia Clinic area. The research design used was descriptive with a survey approach. The study population consisted of 48 postpartum mothers, selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted descriptively by presenting frequency distributit and cross-tabulations between REEDA scores and hemoglobin levels. The results showed that on the second day postpartum, 26 mothers (78.8%) had normal hemoglobin levels, while 7 mothers (21.2%) had abnormal hemoglobin levels, with REEDA scores of 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. By the seventh day, 28 mothers (84.8%) had normal hemoglobin levels, while 5 mothers (15.2%) had abnormal hemoglobin levels, with REEDA scores of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Differences were observed in perineal wound healing scores and hemoglobin levels throughout the study. It can be concluded that there was a decrease in the number of postpartum mothers with abnormal hemoglobin levels from 7 on the second day to 5 on the seventh day, indicating an improvement in perineal wound healing
