    Abstract
Using hydrogen as an alternative fuel can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and can increase performance. The more perfect the combustion process, the greater the performance of the engine. Previous research shows that the use of intake air temperature heaters can increase torque, power and fuel consumption. This research uses a Yamaha Mio Z 125cc with a CVT transmission and an Electronic Fuel Injection system with an engine (4-stroke) with the addition of an intake air temperature heater in the intake manifold. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of each variation of intake air temperature value and determine the appropriate intake air temperature value to be applied from several variations of intake air temperature values that will be tested in order to obtain the lowest specific consumption. Performance testing was carried out using a mixture of 90% pertalite fuel and 10% hydrogen gas with varying room inlet air temperature values, 45ºC, 50ºC and 55ºC. This research shows an increase in torque of 5.1% and power of 3.08% with variations in the intake air temperature value of 50ºC with a rotation of 7700 RPM, a decrease in specific fuel consumption of 25.63% and an increase in thermal efficiency of 39.23% with a variation of the intake air temperature value of 55ºC with a rotation of 6000 RPM, there is also a decrease in exhaust gas emissions of HC and CO, then there is an increase in CO2 and O2 with each variation of the intake air temperature value.
