This study aims to find the phenomena and factors of hikikomori which is a culture originating from Japan which is studied in a fictional story, namely an anime entitled Anohana. The Anohana anime tells the story of a young man named Yadomi Jinta who experiences the phenomenon of hikikomori due to several factors, namely; a woman he likes dies, fails the school entrance exam, grows into a teenager and is depressed. In addition to the hikomori phenomenon, factors that cause Jinta to do hikikomori are also found, namely: being abandoned by someone, failing a test, and experiencing depression.
