    Abstract
The people of Darfur's distrust of their government points to the repressive actions of the Rapid Support Forces operating under the leadership of Al-Bashir.Sudan continues to be engulfed in a civil war that directly and indiscriminately targets civilians. Since the Sudan Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces) began fighting in April 2023, their respective attempts to gain control of territory and regions have divided the country and destroyed the lives of Sudanese civilians. This study aims to describe the efforts and obstacles of the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission In Sudan (UNITAMS)) in overcoming conflict in the Sudan region. The method used in this writing is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through library research in the form of literature, journals, articles, and other reading materials related to the issues discussed in this study. This research uses the theory of International Relations and International Organizations. The theory of liberalism perspective is freedom, cooperation, peace, and progress. The results of this study show UNITAMS efforts such as, (1) to assist “political transition and progress towards democratic governance”, (2) to support the peace process and the implementation of peace agreements, (3) to assist peacebuilding, protection of civilians, and the rule of law, and (4) to support “mobilization of economic and development assistance and coordination of humanitarian assistance”.
