Analisis Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu Berdasarkan ISO 9001:2015 pada Proyek Pembuatan RTG Pad di Pelabuhan Perawang

Abstract

In Indonesia, the construction industry continues to grow rapidly. Due to the large number of construction projects, there are also more and more construction service organizations which create increasingly tight competition between contractors. The increasing competition between organizations makes organizations aware of quality. One of the important requirements is the ownership of an ISO 9001 Certificate. The ISO 9001 Certificate plays an important role in ensuring quality, safety, customer satisfaction and providing concrete evidence that an organization complies with global standards in quality management, which can be a determining factor in winning new contracts and projects. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, the obstacles that occur in the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and strategies to improve the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system on the RTG Pad Manufacturing project at Perawang Port. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire so that it is expected to obtain accurate information about the implementation of the quality management system. Based on the analysis of data on the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system on the RTG Pad Manufacturing project at Perawang Port, it was found that the level of implementation was 81.09% in the "Good" category. The obstacles faced in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 may be caused by several problems, including the lack of top management commitment. Organizations can use various strategies to improve the implementation of their quality management systems, one of which is maintaining consistency with ISO 9001:2015
