Pengaruh Downsizing, Severity, Free Assets, dan Expenses Retrenchment terhadap Keberhasilan Corporate Turnaround pada Perusahan Industri Dasar Kimia yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2019-2023

Abstract

The pupose of this study is to look at “The downsizing, severity, free assets, expenses retrencement on the success of corporate turnaround in basic chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. This research is classified as causality research. The type and data used is secondary data. The sample determination method used a purposive sampling method with an observation period of 5 years to obtain 210 observation samples. The analysis method uses the SPSS 26 program. The results of this study found that downsizing has no effect on the success of corporate turnaround, severity has a significant positive effect on the success of corporate turnaround, Free Assets has a significant negative effect on the success of corporate turnaround and expenses retrenchment has a significant positive effect on the success of corporate turnaround. Meanwhile, it simultaneously states that downsizing, severity, free assets, expenses retrenchment have a significant effect on the success of corporate turnaround in basic chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023.
