Interaksi Sosial Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan Karya Lisa See: Tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract

Social interaction is the social relationships that occur dynamically between individuals with individuals, individuals with groups, and groups with groups are part of social circumstances. Writing this thesis is done with the purpose of describing the social interaction of the main character in the Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan by Lisa See in terms of literary sociology. To achieve this goal, the author has reviewed Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan and has applied the theory of literary sociology to seek the form of social interaction contained in Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method with literature approach. Based on the results of research the main character in social interaction is influenced by the values and norms that occur in society that time and there are four forms of social interaction of the main characters in Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan that is cooperation, accommodation, competition, and contravenes.

Interaksi sosial adalah hubungan-hubungan sosial yang terjadi secara dinamis antar individu dengan individu, individu dengan kelompok, dan kelompok dengan kelompok merupakan bagian dari keadaan sosial. Penulisan skripsi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial tokoh utama dalam Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan karya Lisa See yang ditinjau dari sosiologi sastra. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penulis telah menelaah Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan dan telah menerapkan teori sosiologi sastra untuk mencari bentuk interaksi sosial yang terdapat dalam Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tokoh utama di dalam berinteraksi sosial dipengaruhi oleh nilai dan norma yang terjadi pada masyarakat masa itu dan terdapat empat bentuk interaksi sosial tokoh utama dalam Novel Xue Hua Mi Shan yaitu kerja sama, akomodasi, persaingan, dan kontravensi.
