Politik Anak Muda Dalam Pemilu 2024 (Studi Kasus : DPC Partai Demokrat Pancur Batu)

Abstract

This thesis explores youth politics in the context of the 2024 election, with a focus on the Pancur Batu Democratic Party DPC. As the generation that will inherit political policies and decisions, young people have strategic potential in influencing political direction. This research aims to investigate various factors that encourage or hinder young people's political participation and understand their attitudes and behavior towards elections. The methods used are qualitative, including in-depth interviews and surveys with party members and young voters. The results show that political awareness among young people is increasing, especially through the use of social media as a tool to access information and interact with political issues. However, significant challenges remain, such as a lack of understanding of the electoral process and low interest in being directly involved in political activities. In addition, this research identifies the important role of the Pancur Batu Democratic Party DPC in providing a relevant platform for young people. Political education programs and social activities carried out by parties can contribute to increasing youth involvement. Thus, these findings indicate the need for more effective strategies from political parties to reach and involve the younger generation, so that they can contribute actively to the democratic process.
