dc.description.abstractWeather is a factor that cannot be controlled by humans so it is difficult to take into account when construction work takes place. Weather factors can be an obstacle in the constructionprojectworkprocess. Themostinlientialweather in Indonesian is rain. The rainy season can cause obstacles to construction projects, causing delays in project completion. The situasion in the field shows that not all construction projects can run according to thetimespecified in theworkcontract. This research aims to evaluate the impact of weather, especially rain, on construction project schedule. The research method used was collecting respondents answer through questionnaires and analyzing schedule effectiveness. This research uses a method to calculate construction schedule delays by considering weather conditions. This method combines weathe information, estimated delays for certains tupes of construction as a result of changing weather conditions, and schedulking data, to determine the duration of the project and allows reducing delays woth thw help of changes in the start time of the project. The results of this researh indicate that weather has an influence on the implementation of the USU retensiom pond constructikn project. The construction work that was delayed for 33 days, minipile erection for 10 days embankment work for 4 days, filling work for 4 days, and casting work for 30 days.en_US
