Abstract

Background: The pharmaceutical industry is a business entity that has a permit from the Minister of Health to carry out the activities of making drugs or drug ingredients. Good drugs must be efficacious (efficacy), safe (safety), and quality (quality). The suitability of pharmaceutical personnel is an important benchmark for ensuring public health which can be improved with experience and knowledge about the role of pharmacists in industry. Objective: The purpose of this pharmacist professional work practice is to equip prospective pharmacists, carry out pharmaceutical work in industry, provide an understanding to prospective pharmacists about the role, function and responsibilities of pharmacists related to pharmaceutical work in industry and compare the feasibility of the process and quality of drugs at PT Phapros Tbk with Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB). Method: Work practice in the collaborative industry understands the provisions and standards of good drugs in the PT. Phapros Tbk industry. Results: Understanding the standards for good drug manufacturing in industry and the role of pharmacists in industry. Conclusion: The PT. Phapros Tbk industry has met the CPOB standards
