    Abstract
The Pharmacist Professional Practice (PKPA) conducted at Kimia Farma Binjai Pharmacy was an essential component of the Pharmacist Profession Program, aimed at preparing future pharmacists for real-world pharmacy management and clinical services. Held from November 6, 2023, to December 1, 2023, this internship provided the opportunity for direct involvement in the daily operations of a pharmacy, offering critical exposure to both administrative and clinical responsibilities. During the internship, various tasks were undertaken, including prescription handling, self-medication services, and drug management, all performed in accordance with the professional standards of pharmaceutical care. Interns were involved in classifying drugs by pharmacological groups, managing inventory through systems like First In First Out (FIFO) and First Expired First Out (FEFO), and processing drug orders from distributors. Additionally, the internship provided hands-on experience in preparing and dispensing both cash and credit prescriptions. The role of the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) was emphasized, giving interns insight into the managerial aspects of pharmacy practice. This included ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, overseeing daily operations, and engaging with patients for pharmaceutical counseling and drug information services. The practical application of these skills aimed to enhance the students' ability to address common challenges in pharmacy practice, ensure optimal patient care, and maintain the professional and ethical standards required by Indonesian pharmaceutical law.
