Abstract

Background: Pharmaceutical wholesalers (PBF) are one of the pharmacists' work practice spaces in pharmaceutical distribution or distribution facilities. Pharmacists as those responsible for drug distribution at PBF are required to implement all aspects of Good Drug Distribution Practices, so the professional education study program needs to directly equip the role of pharmacists in managing a PBF in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, through Pharmacist Professional Work Practices Objective: So that prospective pharmacists can understand the role of pharmacists in pharmaceutical wholesalers professionally, in accordance with the Guidelines for Good Drug Distribution Practices Number 6 of 2020. Method: PKPA at PBF PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading Medan Branch was carried out on September 4, 2023 - September 30, 2023, guided by Mrs. apt. Munawaroh, S.Farm as the pharmacist in charge of PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk Medan Branch. This practice is scheduled from Monday - Friday starting at 08:00-16:00 WIB and Saturday starting at 08:00-13:00 WIB. PKPA activities at the PBF PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading use direct observation methods and participatory practices. Results: PKPA students at PBF PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading carried out activities consisting of understanding the organizational structure and human resources at PBF and observing the application of CDOB aspects and principles in managing the distribution of pharmaceutical preparations at PBF Conclusion: The Role of Pharmacists at PBF PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading is the implementation, supervision, training based on Good Drug Distribution Practices Number 6 of 2020.
