    Abstract
CV. Pinterwood is a company engaged in furniture that produces chairs, nightstands, and buffets. This company has a common problem of not achieving the production target of consumer demand within the specified time. This common problem results from an inefficient production trajectory because there are cross movements, backtracking, and the order of the placement of work departments that are far apart, resulting in the movement of materials at a considerable distance. This problem can be solved by improving the production floor layout using the graph method and the ALDEP method. This research aims to design a production floor layout to minimize distance, total displacement moments, and material handling costs, with a Line Efficiency Rate above 75%. The results of this study show a decrease in the total distance of movement on the production floor from 228.5 meters/month to 172.5 meters/month using the Graph Method and by 149 meters/ month using the ALDEP Method. The total moment of movement on the production floor also showed a decrease from 50,829 meters/month to 45,997 meters/month using the Graph Method and 36,871 meters/month using the ALDEP Method. By comparing the total distance, total moment of displacement, and material handling costs on the actual layout, Graph Method layout, and ALDEP Method layout, the layout using the ALDEP Method becomes the selected proposed layout with a Line Efficiency Rate of 81% so that it can be said to be an efficient production floor layout. Based on the selected proposed layout, there is an increase in the number of products from 185 to 312.
