This research aims to design a performance center building that combines the concept of metaphor architecture with optimal functional needs, located at Jalan Sutomo, Medan. Metaphor in architecture is an approach that uses symbols and visual representations to convey a particular meaning or concept. This approach gives an additional dimension to the physical structure of the building, creating an immersive experience for its visitors. The result of this research is a performance-centered building design that utilizes metaphor as a key element in the formation of its visual identity. The careful use of forms, materials, and architectural details communicates certain messages to visitors, creating a memorable and compelling experience. This research is expected to contribute to the development of contemporary architecture that enriches visual aesthetics and strengthens the relationship between buildings and their environment.en_US
