dc.description.abstractMedan City is the capital of North Sumatra and as one of the developing cities, Medan City has established international relations with other countries in the social, economic and political fields. International Schools are educational facilities that apply an international curriculum and graduates are recognized as internationally certified as well. At the high school level, students can easily move on to higher levels in other countries. This International School applies a biophilic theme with the aim that students can be closer to nature. It has many benefits, such as providing brain relaxation when users experience learning stress after completing the learning process and nature also has benefits including mental strength, memory and our ability to think. , during the learning process with these facilities users can feel calm by feeling and seeing the nature around them Analysis Method: Through the application of the design stages, namely determining the design location, design approach, design stages, literature study, comparative study, design analysis, design concept and final design, it is hoped that the best problem solution will be obtained.Results By applying the theme of biophilic architecture in planning the development of this student activity center, it is considered that it can minimize the problems that development can cause to the surrounding environment and can have a positive impact on users and the surrounding environment.en_US
