dc.description.abstract | Indonesia has abundant natural resources, and Indonesia has a large market too. One of the industrial fields that has an important role is the chemical industry, the chemicals that are currently needed are acrylamide. Acrylamide with the molecular formula C3H5NO is a carboxylic acid derivative compound and is the most important compound in the acrylate and methacrylate amid groups. Acrylamide is used in the manufacture of dyes or to form monomers or other polymers, handling liquid waste, making paper, processing iron ore and in the manufacture of pressing materials. so that acrylamide is needed in Indonesia, as evidenced by the increasing number of imports. The manufacture of acrylamide uses sulfuric acid hydration using a neutralizer to neutralize the acid, in this plant design the neutralizer is magnesium hydroxide. The plant location is planned in Manyarejo area, Manyar District, Gresik Regency, East Java. The planned legal form of the company is a Limited Liability Company or in indonesia called Perseroan Terbatas (PT), with the planned organizational form being a line and staff organization. The establishment and operation of the factory requires an investment capital of Rp 752.670.263,47 with production costs of Rp 507.74.,893.992,82 and sales proceeds of Rp. 736.034.812.416,00 which results in a profit after tax of Rp. 216.877.322.502,02 Based on economic analysis, this plant has a PM of 29.47%; BEP of 40.12%; ROI of 20.18%; POT of 4.96 years; RON of 33.63%; and IRR of 22.62%. Based on the results of the economic analysis, the plant is feasible to establish. | en_US |
