    Abstract
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunode ficiency Syndrome (AIDS) are serious global health problems. Indonesia is a country where the number of HIV and AIDS cases increases every year. Teenager s are more vulnerable to the spread of HIV due to a lack of knowledge and prevention practices. Therefo re, preventing HIV and AIDS is important. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of lectures using media Power Point to increas e the knowledge, attitudes and actions of teenagers in prevent HIV/AIDS at MTs Muallimin UNIVA Medan This research u sed the Pre Experimental method with a One Group Pretest Posttest design, involving 30 class IX students selected using Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis using a paired t test showed significant differences before and after the intervention, with p = 0 .001; α < 0.05 in the knowledge, attitude and action variables. This shows that lectures using media Power Point significantly increase students' knowledge, attitudes and actions. Media Power Point makes information more interesting and easy to understand , thereby increasing the effectiveness of the learning process. Based on the Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) theory, Power Point acts as a stimulus that influences students, who then respond with increased knowledge, attitudes and actions related to HIV and AIDS. It is recommended that schools continue to provide education about HIV and AIDS, parents pay more attention to their children's interactions, students learn about HIV and AIDS prevention, and further research is carried out to understand more dee ply the prevention of HIV and AIDS in teenagers
