Abstract
The contribution of work fatigue to the occurrence of work accidents is fairly large. The factors that cause fatigue are monotony, intensity, duration of physical and mental loading, work environment (work climate, lighting, noise), psychological, health status, and nutritional status. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and workload with fatigue in workers in the Carrot Warehouse of Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study was 30 workers. The sample used was the total population of 30 workers. The measuring instruments used in this study were questionnaires, weight scales, microtoise, and oximeter with the spearman rank correlation test. Based on univariate analysis, it was found that the nutritional status of most workers was normal nutritional status (70%), moderate workload (53.3%), and high work fatigue (70%). The bivariate analysis found that there was no relationship between nutritional status and fatigue with a p-value = 0.054, and there is a strong relationship between workload and work fatigue in workers in the Carrot Warehouse, Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency with a p-value = 0.000 and r = 0.612. It is recommended to workers to stretch lightly during breaks and come 30 minutes earlier so they can do work in a stable condition, to business owners to reduce workers' working hours to 7 hours and provide 1 hour breaks for workers.
