    Abstract
Particulate matter (PM10) is a harmful pollutant that can lead to respiratory issues if inhaled. Environmental Health Risk Analysis (EHRA) is used to evaluate the potential risks posed by chemical and physical agents, especially in vulnerable groups, by assessing risk characterization. This research is a descriptive survey utilizing a cross-sectional design. The study involved 16 workers in the process area and 4 workers in the compost area. It also used air sample data from PT. PP London Sumatera Tbk to measure the PM10 concentration. Data analysis was done using univariate statistics. The results showed that all workers were male, with 45% aged between 20-29 years. About 65% of the workers regularly used PPE masks, while 35% smoked less than 10 cigarettes per day, and 35% smoked more than 10. The PM10 concentration in the process area was 58.8 μg/Nm3, and 42.6 μg/Nm3 in the compost area, both below the standard threshold. Despite this, respiratory symptoms like sneezing (65%) and coughing (55%) were reported. The average intake value for both areas, both real-time (0.0014) and lifetime (0.0039), remained below the RfC value of 0.012. The average risk quotient (RQ) was 0.117 for real-time and 0.329 for lifetime exposure, indicating that PM10 exposure does not pose a significant health risk as the RQ is below 1. The factory should emphasize the consistent use of PPE masks, and workers are encouraged to increase mask usage and reduce smoking for better health outcomes.
