    Abstract
Personal hygiene during menstruation is an important aspect of maintaining reproductive health. A lack of knowledge among adolescent girls regarding menstrual hygiene can lead to unhygienic behavior, which may negatively impact their reproductive health. Many factors influence students' knowledge about personal hygiene during menstruation, one of which is the source of information, including parents, teachers, social media, print media, electronic media, peers, and healthcare providers. This study aims to determine the relationship between information sources and adolescents knowledge level about personal hygiene during menstruation among female students at SMPN 10 Medan in 2024. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional research design. The population consists of female students in grades VII, VIII, and IX at SMPN 10 Medan, with a sample of 62 respondents selected using a systematic random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and then analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a p-value=1,000 indicating that there is no significant relationship between sources of information and the level of knowledge about personal hygiene during menstruation. The study concludes that merely obtaining information is not sufficient to enhance knowledge. Other factors, such as understanding the information and the way it is communicated, may play a more significant role in determining the level of knowledge.
