    Abstract
With the increasing growth of advanced technology in industry, offices and households, electrical energy is very important to support human activities in daily life. Electrical energy has become a basic need for society, starting from households, schools, offices, places of worship and other social places that require electrical equipment. Almost all equipment and supporting materials in people's lives use electrical energy as their driving force. Electric vehicles are vehicles that have the ability to convert electrical energy, both dynamic and semi-static, into thrust capable of moving objects continuously. In this final project, the author implanted 15 pieces of solar panels onto the surface of the car body to distribute voltage in the electric car's electrical system. This research utilizes the use of sunlight to generate electrical energy called a Solar Power Plant (PLTS). Application of Solar Power Generation (PLTS) technology to utilize the potential of available solar energy which is the right solution for distributing voltage to electric cars. This research is supported because Indonesia is located in a tropical area which will receive continuous sunlight throughout the year. In this study the author obtained the average voltage distribution from the solar panel output attached to the car body, namely from the right side at 4.58 volts, the left side at 4.41 volts, the front side at 6.05 volts, the back side at 3.98 volts and the top side at 6.18 volts. In this research, the author obtained the best voltage distribution when placing 15 solar panels on the top of the car at 6.18 volts. This is because the influence of objects and obstacles does not prevent light intensity from reaching the source of the 15 solar panels on the top of the car.
