dc.description.abstract | Celery (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the most popular types of vegetables. This research will be conducted on the development of automatic plant sprayer and monitoring of lettuce plants applied directly to lettuce farmers in Desa Merdeka Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo to increase the productivity of lettuce.
The monitoring system is designed using ESP 8266 microcontroller connected with WiFi and Blynk software. So that monitoring can be done every hour and everywhere. This research uses a qualitative approach to describe the design and test results of the developed prototype. The media contains 40 x 200 cm leaf seed which is connected to a pipe which is connected to a DC 12V air pump which acts as a device to wet the leaf seed. Sensor YL-69 and sensor Ph are in the same place nearby which serves as a sample for us to know the condition of soil moisture and soil Ph.
The result of the research is that the sprayer using the device has an effect on the height of the plant and the number of leaves of the plant. Moreover, one of the advantages of making this tool is that it is effective against time. We don't need to clean often, so we can change the cleaning time to be done. | en_US |
