    Abstract
Human resources are a very important factor in a company. Human resource planning is carried out by planning the workforce so that it suits the company's needs and is efficient and effective in helping to realize the company's goals. Workload calculation is one way to increase human resource efficiency. This research was conducted at PT Mual Tio Maju Bersama, which is a company that produces bottled drinking water. In this company there is an imbalance between the workload of each worker and the number of workers. Reducing the workforce with the same production target as before requires doing double duty, therefore the company does overtime to achieve the production target. The overtime hours carried out exceed the time limit determined by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2023, namely 18 hours per week. The method used is the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Method to determine the optimal number of workers. The research results showed that the number of operators in the first shift production section had an overload workload of 1.4353 and the workload value for bottle production operators was 1.5654. So proposal I was given for optimal labor requirements, namely 6 operators and proposal II was given a proposal for dividing work stations where the workload value of the six operators was overloaded so that they would work overtime for 3-4 hours which still complied with Republic of Indonesia Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Overtime Working Time.
