Water has a double meaning, namely, firstly, water as an environmental factor and the ecology of generating systems; and secondly water as a raw material for different uses such as drinking water, industry, agriculture, fisheries, recreation, and others. For this reason, drinking water treatment facilities are needed that meet the criteria for quantity, quality and continuity. The planning for this drinking water treatment installation is planned in Sipoholon District, North Tapanuli Regency. This research was made based on the background of the absence of clean water connections in Sipoholon District and the 2019 100-0-100 program from PUPR.
