    Abstract
    Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are disorders that affect the normal function of the musculoskeletal system due to repeated exposure to various risk factors in the workplace. MSDs cause significant work problems due to increased health compensation costs, decreased productivity, and lower quality of life. This research focuses on designing bus driver seats to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in bus drivers at PT. Chandra. MSDs are disorders of the musculoskeletal system resulting from static and repetitive sitting postures for long periods of time, which have the potential to reduce productivity and increase health risks. Research was carried out using an ergonomic approach to improve driver comfort and health while driving. The methods used include data collection via Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) to identify the level of complaints and driver work posture. Anthropometric data is also measured to ensure the seat design meets the user's physical needs. The analysis results show that the majority of drivers experience complaints in the neck, back, waist and legs. This research designed a seat improvement design by considering comfort and ergonomic aspects to reduce MSDs complaints and increase driver focus and safety during long-distance driving.
