Determinan Pemanfaatan Pelayanan Puskesmas oleh Masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Muara Dua Kota Lhokseumawe Tahun 2023

Abstract

Public health center as one of the providers of basic health facilities is obliged to report health service coverage related to visits to health facilities on a regular basis. The low number of community visits to the Community Health Center indicates that the community is not utilizing health services. It was found that people who did not use the community health center, the reason for not visiting the community health center was because of the community's perception of illness. This research aims to determine the Determinants Of Health Services Utilization by The Community in The Muara Dua Health Centre working area, Lhokseumawe City in 2023.This type of research was carried out using descriptive methods with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional design. The population in this study is all people who live in the Muara Dua Health Center working area, namely 36,104 people. The sample in this research consisted of 100 people and was carried out using cluster sampling. Data collection was carried out by interviews using questionnaires and analyzed using logistic regression tests. The research results showed that as many as 58 respondents (58%) used the Puskesmas and as many as 42 respondents (42%) did not use the Muara Dua Health Center. The results of statistical tests show that there is a significant relationship between perception of illness and utilization of Muara Dua Community Health Center services. Based on the research results, it is necessary to continue to improve the quality of services so that the public has a good perception and also promote community health center programs so that the utilization of community health centers increases, especially for promotive and preventive activities.
