Nurses in hospitals have duties in inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Work fatigue among inpatient nurses in Haji Medan General Hospital is related to age, gender, length of service, length of work, work shifts and workload. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population of inpatient nurses in Haji Medan General Hospital is 614 people and the number of samples to be studied was taken with the simple random sampling technique, which was 80 nurses. Work fatigue in nurses was measured using the Work Fatigue Feeling Questionnaire (KAUPK2), and categorized into not tired, tired, and very tired. Work load is measured by using a pulse oximeter. Data analysis uses the chi-square test with an alternative likelihood ratio if it does not meet the requirements. The results showed that nurses aged >36 years felt the most tired, namely: 17 people (21.3%). Female nurses felt the most tired, namely: 27 people (33.8%). Nurses whose tenure is > 5 years most feel very tired, namely: 20 people (25%). Nurses whose working hours were ≤ 8 hours were the most likely to feel very tired, namely: 24 people (30%). Nurses on the morning shift felt the most tired, namely: 19 people (23.8%). Nurses who have a heavy workload feel very tired, namely: 24 people (30%). The results of the research show that for age, tenure, work shifts, and workload obtained p value = 0.003, p value = 0.000, p value = 0.004, p value = 0.001 where p < 0.05 so H0 is rejected, meaning There is a relationship with work fatigue in nurses. Meanwhile, for gender and length of work, p value = 0.923 and p value = 0.503 so that H0 is accepted, meaning there is no relationship work with work fatigue.en_US
