dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the feminist movement in the lives of modern Japanese women. The focus of the study is on the implications of the feminist movement in the lives of modern Japanese women. This study limits its scope to the impacts generated based on the opinions of respondents from video interviews. In this study, the researcher uses sociological theory to deepen the understanding of the lives of modern Japanese women. In addition, the impact theory is used to understand the effects of the feminist movement on modern Japanese women. This study uses the listening and recording research method, by collecting data in the form of responses to interviews, articles and surveys sourced from video interviews. The results of the study show that respondents have views that show support for the values and goals of the feminist movement in fighting for gender equality and overcoming injustices experienced by women in Japan. However, there are also respondents who have different views, considering some forms of gender inequality as positive. Then, the positive impact of the feminist movement on the lives of modern Japanese women based on video interviews includes the increasing economic role of Japanese women, who now contribute more in various industrial and business sectors. The feminist movement has also increased women's participation in Japanese politics. Women are now more active and have a significant role in politics, reflecting progress in achieving gender equality in the political realm. The feminist movement in Japan has contributed to the advancement of society's views on gender equality. | en_US |
