dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of investment knowledge, risk perception and return perception on capital market investment interest in undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra. The data used is primary data. The population in this study were active students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra. The sample used was 160 students. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis method and linear multiple regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that partially Investment Knowledge has a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. Risk Perception has a negative and significant effect on Investment Interest. Perception of Return has a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. The coefficient of determination (R2) value is 22.9%, investment interest is influenced by Risk Perception and Return Perception and the remaining 77.1% investment interest is influenced by other variables outside this research model.en_US
