After Indonesia became independent on 17th of August 1945, turmoil arose in various regions, especially in Tapanuli, which was spearheaded by struggle bodies that participated in defending Indonesia's independence. The emergence of this turmoil was a result of the suspicions of young people who were members of struggle bodies such as Napindo, Pesindo which were affiliated with the Union of Struggle towards heads of state, civil servants, KNI and TRI who were suspected of being Dutch and Japanese accomplices. During colonialism and imperialism, it was the head of state and civil servants who were used to assist the colonialists in running the government, such as collecting taxes and employing forced labor. This thesis discusses. This social revolution for the Sumatra region first occurred in Aceh in December 1945, then East Sumatra in March 1946 which entered the Tapanuli region in April 1946. The perpetrators of the bloody Tapanuli incident came from the Pesindo troops and the East Sumatra Struggle Association. The United Struggle arrested and detained employees, heads of state, KNID members, TRI members and members of the Tapanuli Police. From this information, this research aims to analyze the bloody events in Tapanuli which had an impact on the functioning of the government. This research uses historical methods to reconstruct it using stages, heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this research show that the bloody incident in Tapanuli has claimed lives so the government must take firm action against the troublemakers.en_US
