Pengaruh Beban Penelitian dan Pengembangan, Total Asset Turnover, Return On Asset, dan Debt To Equity Ratio terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba pada Perusahaan Farmasi yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2016 – 2023

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of research and development (R&D) expenses, total asset turnover (TAT), return on assets (ROA), and debt equity ratio (DER) on profit growth in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2023 partially and simultaneously. This is quantitative research by testing causal relationships and using secondary data. The data is processed using Eviews 10. The total population is 12 companies registered on the IDX in 2016-2023. The total number of observations was 96 samples. The results of this research show that partially R&D expenses have a positive and significant effect on profit growth. Total asset turnover (TAT) has no effect on profit growth. Return on assets (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on profit growth. Debt to equity assets (DER) has a negative and significant effect on profit growth. Simultaneously, R&D expenses, total asset turnover (TAT), return on assets (ROA), debt to equity ratio (DER) have a significant effect on profit growth in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2023 with a coefficient of determination of 29.67 percent, and the remaining 70.33 percent is influenced by other variables outside this research.
