Universitas Sumatera Utara is a PTN-BH (legal entity state university) established by the government and has the status of autonomous legal entity. A university is required to provide quality control in its study programs and their quality control is evaluated by a GKM executor of Study Program. It seems that currently their performance is unsatisfactory. The objective of the research is to find out the effect of workload, competency, and information technology on the performance of GKM executioners of study programs with work satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research subjects are GKM executioners of study programs at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The samples consist of 130 respondents, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data are collected by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms and analyzed using the SmartPLS software program. The results of the research show that workload has a positive and significant influence on work satisfaction, Competency has a positive and significant influence on work satisfaction, Information Technology has a positive and significant influence on work satisfaction, Workload has a positive but insignificant influence on the performance of GKM executioners, Competency has a positive and significant influence on the performance of GKM executioners, Information Technology has a positive but insignificant influence on the performance of GKM executioners, Work Satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the performance of GKM executioners, Workload has a positive and significant influence on the performance of GKM executioners through work satisfaction, Competency has a positive and significant influence on the performance of GKM executioners, and information technology has a positive and significant influence on the performance of GKM executioners through work satisfaction.
