Akulturasi Budaya Melayu pada Tradisi Mantenan Etnis Jawa Pendekatan Antropolinguistik

Abstract

This study describes the performance of text, co-text and context, meaning and function, values and norms, and local wisdom in the acculturation of Malay culture of Mantenan Javanese ethnic tradition: An Anthropolinguistic approach. The research employs ethnographic qualitative descriptive method using speech or informants' lingual text as data collected through observation, interviews, photo documentation, audio and video recordings. The speech act found is illocutionary speech act with directive and expressive functions. The co-text found contains proxemics, gestures, materials, traditional clothing and hall. The contexts found are situation, social, cultural and ideological contexts. The content of meaning found is in the form of gratitude and blessing expressions. The cultural functions found namely as a form of entertainment, cultural support tools and a media of character education. The values found are the value of religion, logic, ethics and aesthetics. The norms found are the norm of decency, laws and custom. The local wisdom is indicated by the togetherness and cooperation in community, kinship, mutual respect, the feeling of gratitude, cultural preservation and harmony
