dc.description.abstract | The community's need for electrical energy is increasing along with technological advances and the rapidly increasing population. To meet these increasing needs, it is necessary to develop energy resources, both fossil and renewable. One effort that can be made to reduce global warming and the use of fossil fuel electricity is to use solar cells. In this study, two 50Wp solar panels will be designed using an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system using the blynk application. The solar panels will later be placed in Merdeka Village, Merdeka District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra with an altitude of 1437 meters above sea level as a highland area and Jl. Bunga Mawar, Medan Selayang, North Sumatra with an altitude of 31 meters above sea level as a lowland area. The monitoring system will be designed using a microcontroller that is directly connected to the internet. Thus, remote monitoring can be carried out, in order to obtain current and voltage data in real time through the blynk application. The data obtained from the blynk application will later be analyzed to compare the output between the lowlands and the highlands. | en_US |
