This study proposes the design of a triangular microstrip patch antenna designed to support dualband communication systems for 4th generation Long Time Evolution (LTE) cellular-based mobile communications at working frequencies of 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz using an FR4 Epoxy substrate with a value of Er = 4.4 and h = 1.6 mm. To produce a dual band antenna, the insetfeed method is used, namely cutting a gap in the antenna patch. After that, characterization is carried out in the form of reducing the antenna dimensions, characterizing the inseetfeed dimensions and shifting the feeder position. From the results of this research, the impedance bandwidth value at VSWR ≤ 2 is 42 MHz for the 1.8 GHz frequency and 58 MHz for the 2.1 GHz frequency. From the simulation results, the return loss value is also obtained ≤ -10 dB at working frequencies of 1.8 GHz and 2.1 GHz.en_US
