dc.description.abstractBackground: Lipcream is one of the many types of cosmetics used as alip color preparation. Lipcream is a lipstick preparation in liquid from, lipcream is in great demand among women because it is lipcream can make lips more shiny and also produce more color homogeneous or evenly distributed on the lips. Lipcream becomes unsafeif it is contaminated heavy metals, which can have negative effects on health. Pollution lead metal is often found in lipcream which is used as an astringent texture stabilizer and softener , in addition to making the lipcream resistant to oxidation air. Objective: The aim of this research is to find out whether the tool Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (SSA) can be used to analyze heavy metal lead in lipcream samples and also to find out whether The lead (Pb) metal content in the lipcream samples meets the requirements of BPOM RI No. 17 of 2014. Result: The results of the research were that levelsof lead (Pb) in the metal were obtained lipcream that has been registered with BPOM is: Sample A 01= 1,518271 mg/kg; Sample A 02= 1,533550 mg/kg; Sample A 03= 1,167642 mg/kg and concentration results lead (Pb) in sample that have not been registered with BPOM, namely Sample B 01= 1,94365 mg/kg; Sample B 02= 2,151670 mg/kg. Conclusion: Based on the resutl of the research tha has been carried out, it is possible it was concluded that the levels of lead (Pb) contained in lipcream meets the requirements of BPOM RI No. 17 of 2014.en_US
