Background: Nowadays, a number of companies, whether large-scale companies, small-scale companies, service companies or manufacturing companies, are creating various strategies to gain a good image, appreciation and benefits for their companies from the public or company stakeholders. However, behind all the awards, profits and image achieved by the company, there are large individuals known as employees or human resources in the company who are involved in encouraging the company's intentions to continue to develop in a more positive direction. Public Relations actually not only plays a role in establishing communication with the company's external environment, but also must continue to pay attention to communication between fellow employees within the company to communicate, instill and build company values.
Objective: This research aims to discuss the role of public relations in improving employee performance. So it is very important to know human relations so that companies pay attention to their employees, and also companies need to build human relations between fellow employees and leaders.
Method: The method used in this research is a descriptive research method, namely looking for or examining the relationship between variables. Descriptive research studies problems in society, as well as procedures in society and certain situations including relationships, activities, attitudes, views as well as ongoing processes and the influence of a phenomenon.
Results: The results of the research that has been carried out show that the application of the function of public relations in improving the company, solving problems and establishing good relationships with employees works well and smoothly. So that it can make employees feel helped and feel light in working to solve problems.
