dc.description.abstract | An effective pharmaceutical preparation is very important for preventing the decrease in income. Empowering pharmacy department is important; it begins from educating hospital community about the role and purpose of pharmaceutical employees in clinical practice. This hospital has five income sources with pharmacy department as the main source due to the high pharmaceutical preparation. The objective of the research is to analyze some factors which influence the performance of pharmaceutical employees in pharmaceutical service at RS. Haji, Medan. The research uses quantitative method which is focused on measured observation in numeric figures, with cross sectional design. It is conducted at RS. Haji, Medan from January to May, 2024. The population is all pharmaceutical employees, and 30 of them are used as the samples, taken by using total sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using bivariate analysis with chi square/fisher exact test and multivariate analysis with binary logistic regression tests. The result of the research shows that age, education, length of service, compensation perception, and motivation do not have any correlation with the performance of pharmaceutical employees in pharmaceutical service. Meanwhile, the feedback and working condition are correlated with the performance. Feedback is the most influential variable toward the performance of pharmaceutical employees. It is recommended that the hospital management provide feedback for pharmaceutical employees in order to increase their working performance | en_US |
