Analisis Risiko Pemasaran Kentang (Solanum Tuberosum L) di Desa Sada Perarih, Kecamatan Merdeka, Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing risks as a whole in potato agribusiness which focuses on the Sada Perarih village area, Merdeka sub-district, Karo district. Karo district is one of the potato agribusiness centers, the author used interviews as well as a survey of potato agribusiness entrepreneurs. Data analysis was carried out. qualitatively and quantitatively which found that there were at least marketing risks, risks that must be prioritized for mitigation, namely risks that are at the medium stage according to the results of the risk assessment that has been carried out. This research uses the kuantitatif method, the results of the research found 14 risks at the farmer level,7 risk at the collector (agent) level, and 10 risks at the distributor (wholesale trader) level. Based on risk mapping, the highest risk value is at the farmer level, then the distributor (wholesale trader), and the lowest is at the collector (agent) level. Risk management is carried out by avoid, mitigate, transfer, and keep.
