dc.description.abstractToday, the health care system prioritizes patient-centered care which involves the family of patients in order to provide qualified service, ensure patient satisfaction, and avoid unexpected incidence. Hospital management tries to provide health care on patient- centered care. The objective of the research is to analyze the effect of the implementation of PCC (patient- centered care) on patient satisfaction at Martha friska hospital, medan. The research uses a quantitative method with cross sectional design. The population and the samples are 106 inpatients as the respondents. The data are analyzed using chi square test and multiple logistic regression analysis. The result of the chi square test shows that there is a correlation between respecting the choice of patients and evaluation, emotional support, physical comfort, information and education, access to service with patient satisfaction at p-value < 0.05). the result of logistic regression analysis shows that the variables of respecting patient’ choice and evaluation and access to services have a significant influence on patient satisfaction at p-value < 0.05. it is also found that the most dominant influence on patient satisfaction is access to services at Exp (B) of 29.990. it is recommended that hospital management continuously improve its service quality and provide regular education on patient- centered care to enhance patient satisfaction.en_US
