dc.description.abstractGroundnut is a food crop that is widely cultivated on Inceptisol soils. Inceptisol includes acid mineral soil, which requires soil management, including the provision of organic materials for soil management. The provision of zeolite is expected to improve early physical conditions, especially soil aggregates, and the provision of coffee skin compost is expected to increase pH and nutrient absorption. This study aims to determine the effect of coffee skin compost and zeolite on soil chemical properties and peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) production on Inceptisol Soil. This research was conducted in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This study used Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of two treatment factors, Factor 1 was the dose of coffee skin compost (0, 10, 20 tons/Ha) and factor II was the dose of zeolite (0, 5, 10 tons/Ha). The results showed that the application of coffee skin compost dose increased soil pH and did not increase C-organic, N-total, P-available and seed weight. The application of zeolite did not increase N-total, pH, C-organic, P-available and seed weight. The interaction of various dosage levels of coffee husk compost and zeolite also had no effect on chemical properties but the interaction of coffee husk compost and zeolite at doses of 20 tons/ha and 5 tons/ha was able to increase groundnut weight.en_US
