Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan dalam Mendukung Pembangunan Rumah Peribadatan di Perkebunan Aek Loba Kabupaten Asahan (Studi Pada PT Socfin Indonesia)

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a business commitment to contribute to sustainable economic development with the aim of improving the quality of life of the local community and the wider community, and for the creation of a conducive business/investment climate and business sustainability. The purpose of the research in this thesis is to determine the regulation of corporate social responsibility (corporate social responsibility) of PT. Socfin Indonesia in supporting the construction of houses of worship in the Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency, to determine the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of PT. Socfin Indonesia in supporting the construction of houses of worship in the Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency, to determine the obstacles to the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in supporting the construction of houses of worship in the Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency The research method used is normative juridical legal research supported by empirical data. This research is descriptive analysis, namely research that describes, examines, explains and analyzes laws and regulations. The analysis in this study was conducted qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the legal regulations regarding the Aek Loba Plantation Company, Asahan Regency in distributing Corporate Social Responsibility are implemented as a legal obligation as regulated in laws and regulations, including Article 74 of Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, Law No. 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, Law No. 4 of 2009 concerning Mining, Minerals, and Coal, Government Regulation No. 47 of 2012, and strengthened by the Constitutional Court Decision No. 53/PUU-VI/20. The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of PT. Socfin Indonesia by determining the allocation of net profit decided in the GMS plus the remaining CSR funds from the previous year, CSR is budgeted as a company cost burden, the implementation of which is carried out by considering propriety and fairness. The CSR management model and management at PT. Socfin Indonesia Tbk Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency uses a partnership model. The obstacle of PT. Socfin Indonesia Tbk in distributing Corporate Social Responsibility in Aek Loba Plantation, Asahan Regency is that the CSR program has not been well socialized in the community, because there are still some people who do not know about CSR or CSR programs, lack of CSR program funds.
