Perancangan Sistem Enterprise Resource Planning dengan Metode Accelerated SAP di UD. Tumorang Jaya Medan

Abstract

UD. Tumorang Jaya is a company engaged in the sales of tools, materials, and building equipment. Currently, the company is still using a manual (paper-based) system in its purchasing and sales business processes, with no real-time inventory recording. As a result, there is often an accumulation of goods in the warehouse that is not well monitored, leading to physical damage to the products. This research aims to design an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on Odoo using the Accelerated SAP (ASAP) method, designed to integrate purchasing, warehouse, and sales business processes in real-time to enhance transparency and operational efficiency. Data in this research were obtained through employee interviews and direct observation at the company. With the Odoo ERP system, the company is expected to improve operational efficiency, minimize the risk of overstocking, and strengthen transparency and integration across business processes. A comparison analysis between the existing business processes and the ERP system design shows that the implementation of Odoo can increase transparency, accelerate information access, and optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency through centralized and real-time data. This research is limited to the design phase and does not reach the full system implementation stage at UD. Tumorang Jaya. The results of the Odoo ERP system design are shown in the activity diagram, which illustrates the workflow of the proposed Odoo ERP system. This diagram shows how the ERP modules will work to automate processes.
