D WILLDANNI: The Effect of Water Application Time Level with Drip Irrigation on Andosol Soil on Spinach (Amaranthus Sp) Plant Production supervised by SUMONO.. Spinach is one of the vegetable plants that can grow in the highlands and lowlands. Spinach plants are very reactive to the availability of water in the soil. This study used drip irrigation to provide water to spinach plants. This study aims to determine the effect of watering time with drip irrigation on andosol soil on spinach (Amaranthus Sp) plant production. This study was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture using a non-factorial completely randomized design research method, using 3 treatments and 6 replications, namely the first treatment of watering once a day, the second treatment of watering once every three days, and the third treatment of watering once every five days. The results of the study obtained in this study were that the level of watering time for spinach plants did not significantly affect the wet weight of spinach plants in the once-a-day treatment of 7.64 grams, the once-three-day treatment of 7.38 grams, and the once-five-day treatment of 7.07 grams. The texture of the andosol soil used was clayey sand with a C-Organic value of 3.11%. The average bulk density value was 0.56 grams/cm3. Particle density 1.98 grams/cm3, and porosity 70.7%. The efficiency value of water use in spinach plants in the once-a-day treatment was 99.93%, the once-three-day treatment was 99.89%, and the once-five-day treatment was 99.86%. The efficiency value of water storage in spinach plants in the once-a-day treatment was 99.14%, the once-three-day treatment was 95.38%, and the once-five-day treatment was 95.38%.en_US
