Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease that is a major health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence increasing from 6.9% (2013) to 8.5% (2018). However, only 25% of suf erers are aware of their condition. PTM screening is an important preventive measure. This study aims to determine the implementation of PTM screening in the Simpang Limun Health Center work area based on a system approach, namely input, process and output using qualitative methods with observation and in-depth interviews with 12 informants. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of PTM screening in the Simpang Limun Health Center work area has been running but is still not optimal. The availability of incomplete facilities during screening such as KMS FR books for participants and disposable facilities for sugar, cholesterol and uric acid sticks. The availability of funding is still insuf icient to meet the procurement of disposable facilities such as sugar, cholesterol and uric acid sticks and late payment of cadre honorariums. The achievement of community participation targets is still low in implementing PTM screening, due to the busyness of work and school so that the screening target has not been achieved with the majority of participants being in the 40-50 year age group. DM cases were found at around 30% and risk factors were found at around 40%. It is expected that the Simpang Limun Health Center will expand socialization and strengthen post-screening education so that DM suf erers routinely check and seek treatment. The person in charge of the PTM Program must optimize communication with of icers and cadres to improve facility readiness and community participation. Further researchers are advised to examine factors that influence participation in PTM screening, especially time, communication media, and community awareness, and find solutions to existing obstacles.en_US
