T. Sinar Sosro is the first company in Indonesia to produce bottled tea, with the main raw materials being dried tea leaves and sugar. Delays or shortages in the supply of raw materials often lead to production disruptions that negatively impact the company's finances and reputation. Ultimately companies tend to store large quantities of raw materials, but this strategy incurs significant storage costs. This study aims to minimize the cost of raw material inventory with a mixed nonlinear programming approach. Specific objectives include the development of mathematical models to determine order sizes and reorder points, as well as providing heuristic proposals for inventory problems. The optimization results show that the total inventory cost can be significantly reduced, from Rp147,466,005.10 to Rp29.901.374,42, resulting in savings of Rp117.564.630,68 or 79.73%.en_US
